PLACEMENT OF DENTAL IMPLANTS FOR PARTIAL OR TOTAL TOOTH LOSS
Dental implants are the most modern solution for the full restoration of a smile. We are committed to advanced care under the guidance of Dr. Zhechkov, a certified implantologist with extensive experience. We apply established global systems for maximum stability and aesthetics.
Protecting healthy teeth is a key benefit; unlike traditional bridges, implants replace the root of the missing tooth and do not require filing down the adjacent healthy teeth.
We use high-end titanium implants. They are chosen for their biocompatibility and strength. This material has proven biological tolerance and integrates successfully with bone tissue.
Implants also offer stability for total tooth loss. When all teeth are missing, implants provide unparalleled support and fixation for prostheses. This returns comfort while eating and speaking.
Finally, implants can be the only alternative: In many cases, implantation is the only way to create a fixed structure (bridge) when the final chewing teeth are absent.
The Implant Placement Process: A Long-Term Solution for a Natural Smile.
The absence of one or more teeth is not just an aesthetic issue; it directly affects masticatory function, speech, and the health of neighboring teeth. At Provydent Dental Clinic, under the guidance of Dr. Zhechkov, we offer modern solutions that restore your quality of life.
What is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a high-tech substitute for a natural root. Made from biocompatible titanium, it integrates into the bone to serve as a stable base for a crown, bridge, or prosthesis. This is the most gentle and physiological choice in modern dentistry.
Step 1: Preparation and Digital Planning. Implant placement begins only after a precise analysis. The process starts with a detailed examination and X-ray imaging to assess bone volume and plan the exact positioning of the implant, guaranteeing high success rates.
Step 2: A Routine and Painless Procedure. The placement itself is a standard surgical manipulation performed under local anesthesia. For anxious patients, the clinic offers the possibility of working under sedation, supervised by an experienced anesthesiologist, to provide a stress-free environment.
Step 3: Recovery Period and Osseointegration. After insertion, a period of 2 to 4 months is required for the implant to bond with the bone (osseointegration). If the missing tooth is in a visible area, we provide a temporary restoration to ensure your social comfort throughout treatment.
Step 4: Final Restoration. Once the implant is fully integrated, the superstructure and final crown or bridge are placed. The result is a tooth that is indistinguishable from a natural one, both visually and in terms of sensation while eating.
Advantages of Implantation at Provydent: We preserve healthy teeth by avoiding the need for filling, prevent bone resorption by stimulating the jawbone, and eliminate the discomfort of loose prostheses in cases of total tooth loss.
